Project Description

Nature Conservation Center

The award winning Oregon’s Nature Conservancy Headquarters is based in Portland and has been transformed a dated office building into a collaborative space that reflects the mission of this environmental non-profit. The original building was built in the 1970s, lacking sizable spaces for meetings or events. The new building addition contains community room and a roof garden terrace. With the Nature Conservancy’s commitment to using innovative and sustainable solutions, they decided to use Cross-Laminated Timber in the construction of their new addition and upgrade to the original structure. The once small, dark and inefficient work space is now a warm, bright and inviting space for employees and visitors.
